Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

If a PC encounters an issue that produces a BIOS alert when starting up (e.g. rear chassis fan not detected or CPU fan not detected), does that get recorded in a log file somewhere?

 

We've had a bunch of desktops that have run into fan problems on start up and needed the fan replaced. I was hoping to verify if a PC was doing it consistently or if it was just a one off glitch.

for commercial desktops, hp publishes a service guide available in the 'manuals' linked area of the support site driver download pages. it might provide the information you are looking for, like blinking lights or beeps and their meaning

If your 800 G1 AIO is still  in warranty, feel free to call hp support to resolve this issue.
