HP 285 PRO G1 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to enable virtualization on my PC but there is no option in BIOS to this. So I want HPs driver download page, but there I can't find BIOS update.

Specs: AMD A8 6500 WITH 8570D GRAPHICS

AMI BIOS 80.07

 

PLEASE HELP

I did find a slightly newer BIOS under the Windows 8.1 OS but most likely it will not have any effect on the ability to enable virtualization.  OEM BIOS's, such as the HP, many times do not allow changes to those settings.

As you said, I tried updating the Windows 8.1 BIOS... now still no Virtualization option.

 

Is there any other way to get latest BIOS for this model?

If that is not possible then most likely it is locked.

There is zero information on your PC's support page.

 

Normally, on HP business desktop PC's, the enable VT setting is in the security menu of the BIOS.

 

I have no idea what your BIOS menu looks like, so you will have to look.
