Hello,

I need to downgrade my Z800 BIOS version from 3.61 to 3.21. I can't find the"786G5 v3.21 HP Z800 BIOS ISO File" anywhere within HP website or Google. Could you guys please help me finding it?

first of all just why do you think you need a downgrade? v3.61 has numerous performance/reliability/security fixes and is what you should be running period

last,.... you can not officially downgrade from 3.61 to previous versions while it is possible to do so,....  the process is highly likely to result in a non working system board as it's a complex procedure and mistakes in the process can be fatal and the downgrade provides no benefits to doing so............... as such i will not be describing how to do this

Hi. Many thanks for your reply.

I need to downgrade it because the equipment where I'm using it is showing compatility issues between the Suse Linux and BIOS v3.61. I know it used to work with the previous v3.21 version, so I want to downgrade it. Aware of the risks.

i suggest you visit some Suse Linux forums and ask about your program issues there

based on my years of experience in the windows world, 99.998 of people who think a bios update will fix/cure xxxx problem discover it actually has no bearing on their problem

if you read the list of fixes to the various bios updates, you can see what was done and see if any of them actually related to your software issue
