HP 800 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone

I have hp 800 g1 with a gtx 1060 3g evga

My problem is I have to unplug then plug the dvi cable from the gpu everytime I start by PC I found that my BIOS is out of date on 2013 version so I decided to update it I tried using the hp support assistant but in updates, it doesn't show any available bios updates

So is there another way to update my bios?

Hi, @Mahmed1046

You didn't mention if you had the SFF or Tower version of the 800 G1, but I will assume you have the Tower version, since you installed a video card that is probably much too powerful for the SFF power supply.

On your PC's support page, there is a newer BIOS update than what you have installed now...

You're very welcome.

Sorry that the BIOS update didn't resolve the issue.

I wonder if the video card itself has a problem?
