Cannot install Intel MEI (24-b114): Need for shut down, hibernation etc

HP Recommended
24-b114
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently updated Win 10 but now my computer cannot sleep, hibernate or fully shut down (power light always on).

I searched google and everybody says I need to get MEI v9 or 10.

I attempted to install Intel MEI v9 or 10 or 11 but always got the error messages:

1. This platform is not supported

2. Does not meet minimum requirements

Please help, this is the only way I can fully shut down, sleep or use hibernate.

I also tried: Resetted OS, updated Intel drivers already in system, updated Win 10, unchecked fast shutdown in power options.

Hi Paul and thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately I still get the plateform not supported message.

Above is the part of the log with error. Do I need to do something with motherboard or bios?

You're very welcome.

Sorry that driver didn't work.

I don't believe that you need to do anything with the BIOS or MB.

It should just be a matter of finding the right driver.

I take it you tried all of the W10 IMEI drivers on your PC's support page and got those errors too?

See if this driver works from a different model HP desktop PC with the same processor and chipset series as yours has...

This package provides the Intel(R) Management Engine Components Driver for supported desktop models that are running a supported operating system.

I don't understand why none of those worked.

I know the two I posted should have worked, based on the hardware your PC comes with.

Sorry that I was unable to help you with this problem.
