DL380G9
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

I have an HP DL380 Gen 9 server running windows server 16 in a disconnected lab environment.  This server is also a domain controller.  The server time drifts wildly day to day from actual time.  The lab has a GPS clock for comparison.  The time drifts as much as 2 minutes overnight.

My questions are

1) is this normal for server hardware in a disconnected environment.

2) are there real time clock boards available to keep time while the server is up?

3) if so, is there a way to identify if a clock board is installed?

Thanks

Hi:

HP split into two companies a few years ago.

HP supports, PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.

HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and tape drives.

Thanks for the feedback. I wondered why there wasn't a server option to bin questions in.
