Hi. Thank you for sharing good knowledge to me.
Now I purchased z840 and graphic card Asus GTX 1070 dual.
Replacing from previous quadro k2200 to this new one was successful.
But I don’t know how to close the panel after replacing. Pls see attached pictures.
I think new graphic card is too big for closing panel size?
I’d like to know advices from Z840 owners like me.

the ASUS card is to tall, and is hitting the plastic ribbing on the air guide you will either have to replace the card with a factory style board layout which is a lower height design or leave off the air shroud which is usually not recommended, but if the video card is the only pci-e device installed it will not be a issue just make sure the side cover is placed back
i do not recommend trying to remove the ribbing in the air shroud unless you have the proper tools such as a dremel and take proper measurements beforehand

Hello again DGrove. Many thanks for your support.
I understand graphic card height is taller than clearance space between air shroud panel.
So today I removed air shroud and put side panel back.
Do you think if removing air shroud panel is removed, would it be there anything which make Z840 ability or health worse???
I am just thinking of what HP Z840 hardware developer designed it for air flow.
