Product: Z440 Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi GUys,

I need to expand the internal storage space in my Z440 worstation (existing is 500Gb drive that came with the unit)

 

I'm sure a standard WD sata3 drive of suitable size will install and perform fine  but I'd like to get a heads up on a suitable drive if at all possible. Are there any compatibility issues I shuold be aware of. 

 

Some recommended model numbers would be of interest, particularly if these include 6 o r 8 TB drives. Amongst other applications I'll be using Da Vinci resolve software for clour grading and vsieo editing.
