Z210 CMT

Does anyone have the pin-outs for connectors P5 and front-audio of the Z210 CMT system board ? Neither of these are documented in the HP Z210 CMT maintenance and service guide (appendix A, pages 154 onwards).

P5 is the connector to the front panel Power button/HDD LED/Power LED/Side access panel sensor/Temperature sensor.

I am trying to install this system board into a non HP chassis. The id on the board is Taroko Rev 1.00

I don't want to risk damaging the board with trial and error connections to switches and LEDs. So far I have only identified pin 7 of P5 as the power button connection and pins 5,8,12 as ground.

I suspect that it is similar to the HP 8200 elite, whose manual does document it's P5 pins (page 7-11), but the layout of that has two more pins with the absent pin in a different position.

This post has a link for a hack to replace the front panel circuit on the Z210 but the link no longer works. If anyone has
the circuit diagram for this hack please could you post it or a link for it.

In the front-audio connector if there is a board detect connection then I might be able to use this to stop the
diagnostic POST message "917 - front audio not connected". The layout of this front-audio connector might be the same
as the HP 8200 elite (page 7-11 again) but it would be nice to get this confirmed.

It looks like the P5 connector layout might be the same as on the Z620 as documented in this link

If anyone knows for sure please say so.

The Z210 P5 front IO panel connector pinout is:

This pinout is the same as the Z620.

The Front Panel Audio Header, P28, pinout follows the Intel HD motherboard audio front panel standard.  Information is on Intel's website, here.   Many third party audio boards, including Creative, follow this standard.

A diagram and signal explanation from Intel's site is copied below:
