Hey, thanks for your reply

 

There's no option for AMT in my BIOS, and I'm running Clear Linux, so...

 

I imaged a FreeDOS USB stick and I'm trying to run the update from within that.

the intel AMT is also known as the "Intel Management engine"

 

please note the last section in the linked document (

Computer Setup—Advanced) that covers the "AMT"

the AMT can be updated using DOS once the necessary windows files have been installed. as far as i know AMT is not available for linux
