Hi.
We are managing a lot of EliteDesk 800 MD G2 and G3 for our customers and found by latest Intel CSME Security Tool that the CSME engine (Intel Management Engine Firmware) is flagged as vulnerable.
We saw on the HP website that HP offers a system BIOS update for both device on their website which are only one month old, however from the readme we saw that the included CSME firmware is still the very old and vulnerable version "11.8.70.3626".
HP also offers the CSME firmware as separate download (Intel Management Engine Firmware) on the model's website, however after installation of that more current version (11.8.93.4323 from Oct 2022) CSME Security Tool still flags it as vulnerable.
Can or will HP offer an updated CSME firmware version for these models?
We saw that the G4 model got a BIOS update on the same day as the G2 and G3 (5th Dec. 2023) which includes an updated CSME firmware.
Thanks
