I have a Z840 bi-Xeon, in which I installed 2 x Quadro P4000. I set up the SLI ans it was working fine. Then I had to replace the Quadro P4000 by 2 x GTX1080.
After replacement I uninstall the driver, re-install it with Clean Installation... I re-install even twice because I can't see the Enable SLI menu in nVidia control Panel.
Does anyone could help me please?
Details:
- I set-up the graphics card in the CPU 0 Slot 2 and CPU 1 Slot 4.
- nVidia driver version is 384.94

THis topic has been covered before with regard to the Zx20. THe summary conclusions seem to be that SLI was only supported for a particular combination of Quadro cards, but not for GTX cards.
