Had the 3.2 error beep code this morning. Looked it up on HP's beep code gyide, and it cited potential memory failure. I reseated the RAM as per thr guide's listed solutions. Still getting the beep code after. Does this mean that I should buy a new RAM in replacement? Need answers ASAP, I have a lot of work to do and my files are in this computer :<<<

remove ram so only the one bank is active (usually two modules left installed) reboot and if no error shutdown and remove one module and replace with a previously removed module, power on and if no error repeat process till you get a mem error message, that module is most likely the failing one

if all modules test good, then a motherboard socket may be failing

make sure to remove (and reinstall) modules in the correct order!!!! read the service manual (pg 28
