This is the strangest problem that i ever come accros, here is what happens. The pc comes with 1TB HDD but when u boot it, boot device not found error 3F0 appers, then i thought it might be a connection error so i checked the SATA cable its fine then i checked the HDD on another pc it works fine, then i boot my pc using 80GB HDD it works fine but when i use 1TB its not even detected by the bios, am confused any suggestions?

was this HD originally in a external usb HD case? some of these drives have been modded by the mfgr to stop people from removing them from the ext case and using them in a internal pc as i recall they messed with the power leads

if you have a spare drive, connect it to the system and see if it shows
if no spare HD try a different sata cable, and also carefully check the power cable connections as it's possible somewhere a bad data or pwr connection exists
