What ist the maximum Watt for the HP Z820  with geforce 2080 with slot and Pin adapters?

Here is the link for the HP Z820 support page. - You probably want to bookmark this link in your browser. In the Manuals section, you will find the link to the  HP Z220 SFF, Z220 CMT, Z420, Z620, and Z820 Workstations Maintenance and Service Guide.  On page 35, you will find the information on the supported GPU power configurations. Refer to page 90 for the correct PCI card installation sequence - you can't just put the graphics card(s) in any slot.

 

"And in total is this 690 Watt for maximum, with Pin Adapter and one Graphic Card?" - Sorry, but not sure exactly what you are asking. Can you re-phrase the question.

 

IMPORTANT - The HP Z workstations do NOT support SLI, i.e. linking multiple GTX/RTX 2xxx cards. Adding more than 1 GPU graphics card has no benefit for regular computer use, or gaming. However, if the software you are using supports CUDA processing, e.g. CAD/3D/video GPU render engines, MathCAD, engineering or scientific simulation software, etc., then there is a significant advantage to adding additional GPU graphics cards, or compute (nVidia Tesla) cards. The HP Z workstations do support NVLink, i.e. linking Quadro GPU cards.

I have read that i can install 3 Geforce 1080 ti, but is this on the power pin adapters?

As per the HP Z820 Maintenance and Service Guide, the Z820 will support up to 2x 300W GPU's, or 3x 225W GPU's, with the 1125W/110v [1250W/240v] PSU  installed.

 

Please bear in mind;

GTX 1080 Ti FE = 250W

GTX 2080 FE = 225W

GTX 2080 (Reference Design) = 215W

You will need the adpter cables as shown below. (6-pin female to dual 8-pin male auxilliary power cables). HP make their own version of these cables, but these are quite expensive and are difficult to source online.

Just make sure you buy good quality cables, preferably a known good brand.
