Z4 G4

Hello everybody,

I am having some troubles using the HP BiosConfigUtility (4.0.32.1) to configure BIOS settings.

I am able to pull the BIOS configuration from the HP Z4 G4 using the "BIOSConfigUtility.exe /GetConfig:"config.txt"" command.

I then make the necessary changes to the BIOS configuration file.

Next I run the command "BIOSConfigUtility.exe /SetConfig:"config.txt"".

A CMD window pops up very briefly and the text "SPM: Not configured" appears. The CMD window then closes.

Then I run "BIOSConfigUtility.exe /GetConfig:"config1.txt"" command to get the new configuration. Upon looking over the configuration, none of the settings I modified are set to the correct value.

I am wondering if I am missing a step or perhaps the "SPM: Not Configured" is something I can fix to make the settings stick.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for your time!
