NonSequitur777 So I do see the driver now but Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) Is there a

a particular item from the device manager you would want to see to tell what the problem might be?

Hello, seems like I may have lost you?

HP Recommended

@Papatado1,

Please follow all of these instructions:

Fixing Error code 43:

1.) Press the Win key + X to open the Win + X menu and select: Device Manager from there. Alternatively, you can enter Device Manager in the Windows search box to open the window below.
2.) Click: Display adapters and then you should right-click your graphics card to open further context menu options
3.) Now select: Update Driver Software from there
4.) Select the: Search automatically for updated driver software option on that window to see if any updates are required. Now Windows will update the video card drivers if required.

Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter:

1.) Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
2.) When the Settings app opens, navigate to the: Update & Security section.
3.) Navigate to the Troubleshoot section in the left pane. In the right pane, go to Hardware and Devices and click: Run the troubleshooter.
When the Troubleshoot window opens, follow the instructions on the screen to complete it. After the troubleshooting is finished, let's see if it resolved anything.

Re-installing the Device Driver:

1.) Press the Windows Key and type in: Device Manager, then click on the result.
2.) Locate your (RTX 3050) graphics card driver, right-click it and choose: Uninstall device from the menu.
3.) When the confirmation dialog appears, check: Remove driver software for this device and then click the Uninstall button.
4.) Rerun the Display Driver Uninstaller, but not in "Safe Mode".

5.) Restart your PC and Windows 10 should automatically install the default display driver.
6.) As a matter of fact, type in: Check for updates in your Windows search bar, and let Windows do its job.
7.) So, rather than the 'official' GeForce driver, after the default Windows graphics driver is installed, check if your RTX 3050 provides a video signal to your monitor. Let me know if that happens.

Kind Regards,

@Papatado1,

And I still would like to read a detailed description of your external GPU setup as requested.
