Hello,
Could you please clarify if USB-C 3.1 port at the back of my HP Elite Slice G1 i5 mini-machine is suitable for connecting external GPU? In spec it is told that this port is capable of sending video to external monitor, which means it integrates DisplayPort functionality, but can it be called Thunderbolt and run external graphics card?
All The Best and Happy New Year,
Mike

No, you can't use USB-C port on your machine to connect to an eGPU, this is not going to work as you wish.
Regards.
