HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Tower
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I would like to install Windows 10 Pro 64 bit on a HP EliteDesk G4 Tower.

No operating system is currently installed on the PC.

UEFI has been reset.

Technical data: HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Tower,  Product No. 4KX45EA#UUZ, i7-8700, 32GB RAM, 512GB M2 SSD

Problem:

I turn on the PC.

The PC starts from the boot USB stick.

The circle with the white dots appears and rotates.

After 4 seconds the circle stops and a different error message appears each time.

The following messages appeared:

IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

UNEXPECTED KERNEL MODE TRAP

TIMER OR DPC INVAILD

Stop Code 0xc000021a

What I tried:

Various different boot sticks (Windows 7, 10, 11)

Other RAM modules

Put RAM into other slots

3 different hard drives (SSD)

Startup without hard disk

Reset BIOS and Secure settings several times

All brought nothing.

I am in despair.

@HansMeier -- my guess is that your hardware is having problems. It might be as simple as "bad" RAM, or a failing disk-drive.

On a working computer, the HP Hardware Diagnostics can be downloaded, and written onto a DVD-recordable as a "bootable" image.  Do it, and then boot your computer from that media, and run the hardware tests.
