I am recreating an old thread that will not accept any replies. It can be found here: HP MIK Bios Password - Compliant then Error? - HP Support Community - 6793867

Hi

I have set up SCCM with HP MIK / Installed MIK Client on ProBook 640 G5

Created baseline with BIOS Password and deployed it

The PC gets the configuration, sets the BIOS password and the report in Configuration Manager shows its compliant

The Bios password has been set!

Then the next time it refreshes the baseline config it comes up with error:

_SetupPassword

Enforcement Error - 0x80070002 - The systems can not find the specified file - Error Source Windows

---

So BIOS password has been set but pc is saying it isn't compliant?? Anyone seen this before?

Thanks

... to add to this, in the previous thread there were multiple people with this issue going back to 2018 but not solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
