HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

We are a school district with about 300 HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF, and we have noticed a significant slowness after applying the following INTEL-SA-00075:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/security-center/advisory/intel-sa-00075.html

Does anyone else has noticed the same thing?

We have some older models that are way faster than this one.

reading the link, this update appears to be a firmware update/patch to the systems AMT subsystem i'm guessing that since you have applied this patch that AMT is enabled on the desktops in question

if you want to see if it is amt related, try disabling amt on one system and note if the issue you are having changes. if not then AMT is not the problem

I did disable the AMT in bios but it did not change anything. Disk speed test is fine as well as CPU.

I'm running out of ideas..

hmmm, you can run the intel tool to confirm the update is applied and working

just what are the symptioms of the slowdown? you mention that disk access/cup usage is normal
