Product: HP Z2 Small Form Factor G4 Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Downloaded HP support assistant latest version. It reports 5 updates available. When it goes to install those updates, it hangs with message "contacting server" or something like that. Same message as reported at least 5 years ago.
Uninstalled, resinstalled manually. Still doesnt work. All methods to recover as listed in this support area failed to work EXCEPT ONE, and I quote.
"DON"T USE THIS SOFTWARE, DOWNLOAD UPDATES MANUALLY AS YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MIND TRYING TO FIX THIS BECAUSE EVEN HP CANNOT.
