We are using HP Device Manager 4.7 SP7 to control our 400 HP T630 thin clients. Everything is going wel except for automatic Bios updates. Our HP T630 thin clients are running M40_0102 and I want to upgrade them to M40_0103.
The OS on the T630 is Win10 IoT-64bit from the HP site. (release from 03-23-2017)
With HPDM I copy HPBIOSUPDREC64.exe and the Bios file M40_0103.bin to C:\temp
Then i run the command C:\temp\HPBIOSUPDREC64.exe -s -fm40_0103.bin
The update will not run and the logging says the following;

Check the readme file in the Bios.zip and recommand to use "HPTC_Winx64.exe M40_0103.bin /p /b /n /r /k /sp" to do the BIOS upgrade.
Attach the sample DM template for reference. Please import the template via HPDM Console, try it on test unit first before applying to production.
My opinions are my own, and do not express those of HPI.

Thank you for your answer it solved my problem, but I changed one thing.
I removed "/sp" from the command because for some reason running it with the /sp command the "System ID" in the bios is going completely blank and then you get the error "Invalid Chassis Serial Number" when booting.
Running the bios update as following "HPTC_Winx64.exe M40_0103.bin /p /b /n /r /k" is the way to go for me.
