HP Thin PRO v6 Absolute Mouse Mode

HP Recommended
Thin Clients with HP Thin Pro
Linux

After upgrading from HP thin Pro version 5.2 to version 6.2 The mouse function isn't working anymore using a KM extender. (Keyboard Mouse extender)

The KM extender uses Absolute Mouse mode instead of Relative Mouse Mode.

Can anyone tell me how I can switch to Absolute Moude Mode in Version 6.2?

In version 5 it worked withoout configuring.

Try to upgrade your bios, sometimes the device won't read the USB that you plugged in.

Unfortionatly the BIOS update doesn't work.

The current BIOS is L40 2.05. target is L40 2.13

After cp the Bios.bin file to the system (/writeble/hoe/user)

The command "hptc-bios-flash bios.bin" is given.

It reports the next 2 arrors:

/usr/sbin/hptc-bios-flash: line 177:  [: lt: unary operator expected

/usr/sbin/hptc-bios-flash: line 179:  [: too many arguments

It ends with:

The imag file was copied to /boot/EFI/EFI/HP/BIOS

Now you can reboot your system to let the BIOS update itself

When I check the file is there.

But after a reboot the BIOS version is still L40 v2.05

What is the version of THINPRO that you currently using? I went to the same trouble that you have before. There is a specific settings in BIOS Settings if you press F10 after reboot.

I'm sorry I missed reading your attachment, so Thinpro 6.2 does not automatic update the bios after the hptc-bios flash command. You actually need to set the configurations in Bios settings.
