HP Universal Camera Driver not installing on 800 G3 AIO

HP Recommended
HP EliteOne 800 G3 23.8-in Non-Touch AiO
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

We just recently purchase several EliteOne 800 G3 23.8-in Non-Touch AiO's. The build comes with a built in camera. When installing the HP Universal Camera Driver during OSD (MDT), the package does not install. Looking at the install log, it gives the following information:

2017/12/07 10:42:26.194|00000DAC|Information|ProcessCmdLineArgs|Found log file switch. New path to log file = C:\HPCamDrv.log
2017/12/07 10:42:26.210|00000DAC|Information|ProcessCmdLineArgs|New log file path = C:\HPCamDrv.log
2017/12/07 10:42:26.210|00000DAC|Information|WinMain|Command Line:"\\deployshare$\Applications\HP Universal Camera Driver 2016.0.1.3 REV B PASS 1\hpqrun.exe" -s -l"C:\HPCamDrv.log"
2017/12/07 10:42:26.210|00000DAC|Information|FindMappingFile|Found \\deployshare$\Applications\HP Universal Camera Driver 2016.0.1.3 REV B PASS 1\MAP.INI file
2017/12/07 10:42:26.210|00000DAC|Information|FindSectionName|Found [USB_ID_SILENT] section in INI file
2017/12/07 10:42:26.210|00000DAC|Information|FindKeyID|Found SECTION: [USB_ID]
2017/12/07 10:42:26.226|00000DAC|Information|FindSectionAndKeyStrings|Failed to find key ID: error code = 1011
2017/12/07 10:42:26.226|00000DAC|Information|WinMain|Completed, Return Code: 1011

The device ID of the camera is "USB\VID_1BCF&PID_2C97". Looking at the MAP.ini file within the install files, looks like the Device ID of the camera is not listed. Nor could i found the device ID in any of the other INI files. I found a smilar device ID within the Sunplus folders, but no exact match. A manual install of the driver fails with the same errors as well.

I tried the folliwing versions of the driver, but both seem to have the same issue:

2016.0.1.3 REV: B PASS: 1

2016.0.0.9 REV: A PASS: 1

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

We also have several HP EliteOne 800 G3 23.8-in Touch AiO computers, running Windows 10 - 64 bit.  The webcam driver from HP has NEVER worked for the HP 800 G3 AiO computers.  The device code for the actual device, does NOT exist inside their driver .inf files.  I just checked today (April 25, 2018) and even with the latest drivers (2016.10.16299.3 Rev.A - Feb 2, 2018) it still does not have the correct hardware device ID in the driver .inf files and this driver continues to fail to install because it is the WRONG driver for this model computer.

Not sure how HP can continue to post an updated version of this driver and yet NONE of them actually work!

I had reported this to HP quite some time ago via our HP contact, but it remains broken.  I suspect it will never get an appropriate web cam driver for this model computer and you're stuck using the generic Microsoft driver built into Windows.

FYI - The hardware device ID of the device is:  USB\VID_1BCF&PID_2C97&REV_0005&MI_00
