Hello!
We are interessted in HP Z1 G9 Workstations with i7 12700 or i9 12900 CPUs for Rendering in Cinema 4D.
I red that the cooling system on these machines are poor. With Power Limit up to 160W on the i7-12700 and good cooling without throttling you are able to reach around 21000pts in Cinebench r23. But when throttling or just 65W Power Limit you just get 12000pts. Kinda 50 % of what would be possible.
So how is the Z1 G9 made for this workloads? Will it hold the power or fall down? We don't wanna buy those machines if they are not better than our machines we are using already for years.
