unless you have the weird HP ssd screw already, then using a non HP heatsink will pose issues as unlike the HP heatsink mounting most ssd's  use the end of the ssd to secure the device

i would either buy the HP ssd heatsink it uses normal mounting screws easily acquired (and fits tower and SFF models)

if possible look for one that has the m.2  mounting screw along with the two heatsink screws

or buy the blue HP ssd screw/mount   and a M1.6 x 0.35 mm thread aprox 18/10mm long
