We have approx. 250 Z440's workstations where I work, and 3 of them (as far as we know so far) experience frequent but temporary hanging. The mouse still moves, but you can't click on anything and keyboard doesn't work. After approx. 3-4 mins it unlocks, and all of the mouse clicks and key presses you did now execute. The machines are all running Win10 x64 1809, latest Win updates, drivers and BIOS. Event viewer is showing this error,
The description for Event ID 129 from source iaStorB cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
We have installed the latest storage drivers directly from Intel's website, no luck
All 3 machines have the same Micron SSD, one person swapped out the SSD with a different brand and the problem went away.
Is this a hardware issue with that model Micron SSD perhaps? Or something else
