HP Z6 G4 WorkStation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We have an HP Z6 G4 workstation with 2CPU,

When the machine is on full load, the machine reboot and stop show this error :

POST ERROR

929-Fatal MCA error.

IMC1 error detected.

Press ENTER to continue.

Do you know if it is a hardware problem or what?

I have my drivers updated with the HP Support software, and with the latest bios version 02.82 Rev.A of April 22, 2022

Thanks!

Best Regards

a failing pci-e card or a incompatible card/driver and bad memory can all cause this error

you need to begin removing items and running tests to determine if any of the above is the cause
