That is good news.  Both the version 1 and the version 2 of a Z400 cannot run this type of buffered memory but the version 2 Z600 can.  A version 1 Z600 cannot.  There must have been a memory controller upgrade as part of that transition from v1 to v2 in the Z600.

 

Please, if possible, post a picture of the 16 GB/stick Samsung memory you bought that is working so well..... thanks.
