HP Z620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All, I have a few issues relating to HP Z620 Workstation Bios version 03.96.  Some of these issues have been around for a long time without any resolution from HP.
1) Cold boot gives a 942-Memory Training error code 3016 DIMM 6.   Subsequent warm boots do not give this error message.  There is nothing wrong with the memory module.  It gives this error message even when the memory slot is left empty.  Does this message have anything to do with the processor microcode not being up to date?  When the OS loads the microcode update later during the boot process and if a warm reboot is performed , this error is not seen.   Is there no way to permanently update the processor microcode to avoid this error message?
2) In the bios setup under “System Security” there is Intel TXT(LT) support.  To enable this feature, you must enable VTX, VTd, and Embedded security Device.  But, in reality what the bios does is just the opposite.  It disables the VTx, VTd.   Is this an error in the bios?
3) The EFI boot partition is wiped by Microsoft Windows 10 also deleting the Grub boot loader when Switching between Windows 10 and Linux (dual boot).  Secure boot is disabled.  Clearing the keys in the bios does not help the situation.  Any ideas why?  (UEFI BOOT, Secure boot is disabled).
