HP Z620
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Z620  that I need to re-image with a COE USB drive containing Win7 64-bit.

I've inserted the USB thumb drive and upon rebooting the Z620 displays:

"Attempting to boot from USB Device

    "Remove disk or other miedia

     Press any key to restart"

Pressing any key merely causes it to redisplay the above 3 lines.

So it apparently does recognize the thumb drive, but refuses to boot from it.

While googling to solve this problem, I came across:

   https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht076615

UEFI bootable USB media for installing Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8 64-bit operating systems

which gives instructions for using diskpart (from DOS prompt) to reformat the USB thumb drive, create a primary partition, mark it active, and assign it a letter.    Unfortunately the next step (running the COE app to download Win7 64-bit) immediately undid all of this, as its first step said "formatting USB drive".

The steps used to create the bootable thumb drive are:

Build PC COE USB Image Media

Any suggestions for how to the Z620 to actually boot this USB drive would be greatly appreciated!
