we recently bought HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch G8 Mobile Workstation Serial: [Personal Information Removed], Product: 1A2F2AV, there is no smart card reader, I need to buy a smart card reader, pls check this serial number support smart card reader, if support - helps me to buy, I need smart card reader part number.

the HP Smart Card Reader is a optional option on this model

if your model does not have this option installed, you will need to use a usb based smart card reader

 

numerous companies make this item, check amazon,  (i recommend a usb 3 based reader)
