Workstaion z420
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

IM currently trying to install windows 7 onto a hp workstation and im trying to enter the bios settings.

Ive tried pressing f8, f9, f10, f11, and f12 with no luck each on separate boots. The computer just beeps when I press them and does nothing. The screen freezes for a minute before disconnecting then reconnecting and then just shows a black screen forever and ever.

Someone please help me with this issue.

Thanks 🙂

Please ensure you have a wired USB keyboard plugged into one of the rear USB2 ports. Do NOT use any of the blue USB3 ports.

Restart the computer and press F10 to enter the BIOS. if this fails to work, remove the power lead from the Z420 and press the BIOS reset button on the motherboard for 10 seconds. Plug the Z420 back in and try again.
