z640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Howdy Community -

I recently decided to revamp my z640 workstation with some upgraded hardware.

I switched back to the turbo drive so I could run RAID with new HDDs.

I was not running RAID previously, and used a fresh Win10 image for the turbo drive. I drives are configured in the RAID menu but windows is missing the RAID controller driver. All searches lead me to dead ends and expired links.

Driver infomation is :

 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2827&SUBSYS_212A103C&REV_05\3&11583659&0&8C

All help appreciated.

Hi:

I have zipped up and attached the driver you need for that ID below.

Download and unzip the file to its folder.

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager.  Click on the PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2827&SUBSYS_212A103C device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file, which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted.

[INTEL.NTamd64.10.0]
;windows_10_64-bit and later
%PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2827&CC_0104.DeviceDesc% = iaStorB_inst, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2827&CC_0104
