Afternoon,

I have upgraded to HPDM 5 SP1 last week but now have issues deploying our VNC settings.

It randomly fails on some clients with the following error "FAILURE: There is no trust store in task content, you should provide the trust store when enable VNC." when part of a Task Sequence.

Sometimes it is fine and deploys if not part of the Task Sequence fine.

I have tried moving the task near the end of the Task Sequence which has helped a little.

The task does seem to be created correctly with the summary saying "Set VNC Truststore: ********"

Any assistance would be grateful.

Regards
Chris

We have updated the security of VNC communication in 5.0 sp1.  For VNC tasks created before 5.0 sp1, you need to open it in the HPDM console and update it.  If the updated VNC task still has this error message, please delete the old VNC task and create a new VNC task.

If the above does not solve your problem, please send me the problem task file and Console log to debug, thanks.

Best regards,

Scott.

Hi Scott,

Unfortunately that has also failed when part of the Task Sequence. I will send you a email directly with the files requested.

We had the same issue, but after updating the HPDM agent to 5.0.3669.37373 the task finished.

Ed, we are running 5.0.3669.37373  and still have the problem.

HP haven't even responded to my logs or email still.

I can't found  the root cause according to your description.

I suggest you submit a SI, which can better track and solve your problems. Please use our HPDM log tool to collect the log and send it to us together with the template file.

Best regards,

Scott.
