Hi. I purchased a 4 year care pack for my 10-month old Elite Desktop Mini (business PC) yesterday. Did it online because the folks at the various internal HP call centers were either giving me wrong information, couldn't answer my questions, or kept referring me to other departments. I'm positive I bought the right product, though (took a screenshot just in case).
Anyway, I got order confirmation yesterday shortly after the purchase, and I can see it under my past orders. I got a courtesy copy of the invoice this morning. Both emails came from the [Personal Information Removed] (yes, I'm in Canada).
I checked my warranty status, and it still shows my warranty is due to expire this April. I did read from someone else that I might get an email to register the thing. It does not yet show up in HP Support Assistant.
Does anyone have any idea what the next step is? Should I expect an email? If so, roughly how long might that take? If the process is automatic, when/where can I see that the care pack is activated?
