Hi,
I recently purchased the HP GEN8 DL360P server. I wanted to install an operating system to use M2 with a pci express card on this server. However, the server does not start boot with the pci card. What can I do?

HP inc, who makes consumer/workstation systems is not the same company as HP Enterprise (HPE) who makes the server line
please visit HPE and ask on their forum any questions related to your server
https://www.hpe.com/us/en/home.html
however as i recall,... only the gen 9 series or later has support for nvme based ssd's
the gen 8 series only support SATA or pci-e AHCI series ssd's and may or may not be able to boot from them
also the only nvme based ssd still sold new that has the necessary OROM support included for booting on legacy systems is the samsung 950 pro but it may or may not work on your server (again ask on the HPE forum)
