this is a user to user forum as such it is made up of users just like you as such we are not hp employees and have no control over HP systems

also if you think about.....entering non valid serial numbers rather defeats the purpose of having a serial number

your best course of action is to contact the place where you bought the system from or on the main HP page click on the contact us link(s)

I have a valid serial number. It's printed on the computer case.

When I click on the links you provided, I'm taken to pages where I can enter my VALID serial number. Then it tells me that my VALID serial number is invalid.

Guess where I bought the system from? HP!

How am I supposed to contact HP, when the only option they give me to contact them is to enter the serial number that they printed on the computer that I bought from them, and their system tells me it's invalid?

Also, I can clearly see other users struggling with this same issue when I search Google.

They've received replies from official HP employees on this forum. So why are you lying to me, saying it's a user-to-user forum?

this forum (and the HP site in general) has thousands of people  posting each month and when that many people use a site it's not uncommon that some users will have problems

the links i provided all have options within the links to either leave a  email with a HP service rep or  a link to contact hp service via phone it appears you are having a problem accessing those links?

some people misread the serial number on the printed label,

a very common mistake is the letter O instead of the number 0

LINK FROM THE MAIN SUPPORT PAGE:

IF THE SYSTEM BOOTS USE THIS PAGE TO FIND THE SERIAL NUMBER:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact/desktop-serial-number

you can also use google to locate a local authorized HP reseller and either send a pict of your ser# to them or see if they will help you with getting a case open with HP support

I have the serial number. The system will not boot.

I must be blind because I can't find anywhere on those links you provided that allows me to contact a human at HP, unless I enter a serial number that the system accepts as valid. This is impossible.

I have replaced the number 0 with a letter O, and I get the same results.

was this system bought direct from HP ? (via their website) or a AUTHORISED HP RESELLER

if the system was bought from a non HP authorized 3rd party seller

then that seller not HP does warranty support and explains why the HP site refuses to accept your serial due to it not being a HP sold system

when HP liquidates product they do track the products serials and mark them as non HP warranted
