Z240

Z240 motherboard. Thinking of upgrading GPU to 1080/2070/2080

I can also use third party casing NZXT, cooler master just in case if it does not fit in to z240 chassis.

the answer to both questions is "NO"

you can not use a 1080 much less a 2070/2080  in a z240 if you have a system fully loaded with ram/drives high end cpu

the 1080 / 2070 might work on a bare bone system (one ssd 2 sticks ram, low power cpu)  as it's around 190 watts, but it again it will push the system over its limit power wise

you can not easily transplant the z240's custom motherboard into a ATX style case as it's mounting holes and power supply are not ATX standard

best course is to use a adapter and install a normal ATX power supply
