I replaced the SS Drive and Battery in my Elite book.
Upon attempting to install Win10 from Boot-able Flash Drive.
I am not able to access any .Ex e files on the Flash drive to start the install?
There is also a BIOS password requested to enter the BIOS?
I never configured a Password on the BIOS?
I've also noticed several other posts from others having a similar issue. With the only provided solution, to contact HP.
After wasting a countless amount of my life being navigated in circles on the HP website. Being offered dead end options
instead of a simple Support Request via email.
I'm about to loose my **bleep**.
I can't help but feel like I'm being subjected to some sort of Ransomed Marketing tactic. Much like the genuine printer ink cartridge racket you guys have got going.
(I've happily used HP printers for over half my life, choosing to forget the countless issues I've en counted and continued to recommend HP printers to those that I care about.)
If I'm told that the only solution is to replace the motherboard and it would be cheaper to just purchase a New unit.
Everyone I know won't hear the end of me compassionately complaining about how much I hate HP.
(not the right choice of word, but you get the picture)
I really want to continue my blind love of HP products.
I don't want to be informing everyone that HP is an acronym for Heaps of Problems!
Please help.
