Is there a plan to make the NFC Mouse H6E52AA#ABB capable of reading NFC tags?

HP Recommended

If the H6E52AA#ABB product can't be enabled to facilitate this is there another product available or planned either as just a reader or reader/writer please?

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand you need information on using the NFC mouse for reading the NFC tags,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Have you gone through the quick setup guide?

(Click here to check, if you haven't done it yet)

While you check that out, here's what you need to know:

NFC Pairing (Windows 8 only)

NFC (Near Field Communication) is available on select Windows 8 computers.

  1. Turn on the computer and the Bluetooth mouse.

  2. Ensure that your computer is NFC enabled.

  3. Tap Bluetooth mouse to the computer.

  4. Bluetooth pairing wizard automatically launches.

  5. Start the Bluetooth pairing on your computer.

That said, I'm afraid the mouse doesn't read NFC tags by unsupported OS or devices, if that answers your query.

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
