HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC (4C3U7AV)

During initial setup of this "certified-refurbished" laptop, I opted in to the Win 11 upgrade.  A few minutes into the upgrade the laptop blue screened with the Stop Code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. After the BSoD the system auto-rebooted but stopped at the bios level with a "BootDevice Not Found" "Please install an Operating System on your hard disk." "Hard Disk - (3F0)" and with an option to hit F2 for system diagnostics. After Hitting F2, I opted for a full diagnostics run. Everything passed except for the "Hard Drive/SSD Short DST Check" which had a warning. After exiting the Bios menu and restarting, the systems hallts at the HP Wolf-Security splash screen and just sits there with the fan at full speed. I have power cycled several times but the system will not boot. BIOS, Diagnostics and HP System Recovery take 15-30 mins to load and  diagnostics keep indicating storage issues e.g. "No storage installed".  Fan is always at max speed.
