HP Z2 Mini G3 Workstation

All HP Z2 Mini G3/G4/G5 Users ...

Looking for the following:

  • (4) rubber feet from the bottom side of the case.
  • (1) stand (P/N: 3RW66AA).  The current stand (P/N: 4N006AA) does not work the older models.  Only works with the G9 series.

Thanks!

Does this help at all, HERE?

I'd consider calling B & H. They're good folks, and know their stuff.

That part looks nice, was to let the mini stand straight up on one of its narrow edges but it seems quite rare. A ghost part... see PDF below. Good luck on your search... I'd not waste too much time on something a couple of bricks could do.

Regarding feet... I'd go to Ace Hardware and find 4 peel-and-stick feet.

I will call B & H, but what I am actually looking for is the standalone base shown below, since I do not have the HP Z monitor to attach it to.

JW... I feel your pain. However this part appears to be confused by HP and resellers as I'm sure you've found also. Some of the HP parts just never got traction in the marketplace, so can't really be found at a reasonable price if at all.

Your best bet is to take the image and use google to do an image search (which exists, AI junior).

Regarding the feet... those are for the bottom, not the side edge you want to stand your mini up on. A couple of 5" x 1" x 1/8" strips of fiberglass off eBay and some Gorilla brand double sided tape would get you your vertical solution much quicker and cheaper than your quest for the ghost part.

I do admire your good taste, however.

SDH:

I understand and have completed the same image search for the correct stand.  Very minimal luck at this time.  With regards to the feet, I do know that these are on the bottom and I would place the system on it's back if these were located.  Do you have information on the OEM feet and what they look like?  If so, can you send me a photo of one of them?  Thanks!

Nothing special... those feet get removed to expose the threaded holes beneath to attach the Mini to the adapter case that you'll see the Mini inside of and then attached to the back of some HP monitors. They get lost. Any peel and stick set of 4 feet will do but if you only want HP here's a number to look for on eBay:

337545-001

You can search there for HP OEM black rubber feet or HP OEM gray rubber feet. Yes, the HP adhesive is good. Also, use the HP PartSurfer for search for parts for your Mini. Ace Hardware still looks good to me.
