nothing has changed hardware wise, from your first post on  03-28-2019 10:07PM,

you still have the limitations from the z600 PCI-E 2.0 bus,..... as such my first reply to you still holds true

if your aim is to get usb 5GBps speeds, then neither of items you list will work, however if you just want a usb 3.0 connector then either item is fine

the reasion is the z600 has a pci-e 2.0 bus, and a usb card using a pci-e x1 interface will not have the nessary bandwidth

as a x1 link  is 500MB/s vs a x2 pci-e card's 985MB/s

even a USB 3.0 card using a pci-e x2 interface will be unable to sustain usb 3,0 5GBps speeds at all times when using more than one USB 3.0 device  but it will come close

there are however professional usb 3.0 cards that use a "plx" chip and a pci-e x4 interface to allow full usb 3.0 speeds on all ports, but these cards are rather expensive

I ended up buying them cards. The IOcrest 2 SATA III ports ASM 1061 is great!!!
I got my Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series to work at 6gb/s and it boots witht the system! As for the USB 3 PCIe2 is working fine but haven't tested the speed.
