Z2 Tower G4 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to find out if DDR4-2666 non-ECC is the only memory speed that will work with my Z2 Tower G4 Workstation or if any 288 pin module that's between 2133 MHz - 3600 MHz could work. 2666 MHz is what's listed on HP's and Intel's website. All of the desktops I have owned in the past that use DDR3 supported multiple speeds so not sure if that's just the official recommended speed it will support or if it's the only speeds that can work. If other MHz speeds will work, what is the range of unofficially RAM MHz speeds that could work for the CPU and motherboard combination I have? Hoping someone can give me a personal experience based answer and not a read the specs answer.
