Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I have the problem that with the 840er Notebook the screens connected to the docking station shutting off and on again and that's happening very frequently (1-2 every 5 minutes). The error only occurs if a SIM card is in the device. I have done with the device:

- Bios with the date 30.1.2018 has been installed (01.24 Rev.A)
- Driver of the LTE module has been updated (1.0.1.73 Rev.A)

- Firmware of the docking station updated (Displayport problem)

- Video driver brought up to date.

I was already able to fix the same problem with the 9480m series by updating the firmware of the LTE module, but there are no new firmware on this series (840 G3), at least on the HP support side

My question now is whether there is a new firmware for the module and / or there is another solution to this problem.

Greetings

Patrick

Hallo Zusammen,

Patrick
