I'm strongly recommending to update the system BIOS v3.15. If the problem still exists with v3.15, you have to escalate to HP Support.

I know this is an old thread but just in case anyone still has any interest in solving this - I had the same issue with W10. Then I switched to using Fedora and it would spit irq xx nobody cared messages right before turning off. It would sometimes fail to shut down.

Turned out that particular irq was in use by Intel SCU, which led me to changing my drive setup - I went from having 3 disks on AHCI ports and one on SCU port to having all 4 on SCU ports and using the AHCI ports for SSD and at least with Fedora the issue is gone.

One other thing - if you downloaded SCU drivers from Intel site they have memory leak issue that hoses the system. Might want to try the HP provided one as there's no built-in W10 version of the same.
