Are there any current workstation that have a legacy PCI slot?  

I have a A/D card I need to support.

there are many HP authorized resellers who sell older model workstations with full HP warranty and support (z840)

and reseller warranty for the z820

 

the z820 has one pci slot and the z840 has two

Instead of changing systems, if there is an open PCI x1, consider a PCIe to PCI adapter, for example:

That one appears to have a very low profile bracket.

 

I appreciate the need to have a system with a PCI slot as used a PCI recording soundcard / MIDI interface (M-Audio 192) until a couple of years ago. My current main and secondary systems both have a PCI slot:
