Pegatron Corporation 2A84H MOBO

My fan runs like crazy- up and down, surging up and surging down.  Seems to run more, though, with a lot of Cache committed to video/graphics processes, like when youtube is playing.  If I have my language right there.

My questions is my board is a Pegatron 2A84H and the last bios was the SMBIOS : 2.5, Version/date: American Megatrends Inc. 5.14, 5/11/2009.  

Is this the most recent?  I found something at https://www.auspisoft.com/directoryp94.html

Are these legitimate?  Should I update or will it cause a problem?  The version seems to be the most recent on HP's site and most sites come up with the 2009  5.14 as the last and most updated version.  But those two above from Auspisoft are 2011 and 2012.   Thank you.

for security reasons, download the bios from the HP product page
It seems to be the last available, but you should check the model with the product number, I found this page but may not be the right one:
